The Vulcan 3-550 PD (power door) furnace is the first burnout furnace to be equipped with a foot switch for automatic door opening and time-delay closing. The foot control can also be wall or bench mounted for maximum safety and convenience. The power door feature is available only on this 550 cubic inch chamber size model. This unit has the same multi-stage programming features as all Vulcan programmable models.

These models offer faster, cleaner burnout than traditional furnaces. Pre-heated air is drawn through the chamber and subsequently removed with an internal Venturi exhaust system. The degree of interior air circulation can be programmed for different program stages. Available in two chamber sizes, 550 and 1750 cubic in.
