Ceramco® Press System

The Ceramco Press systems one step pressing system utilizes a uniquely blended dentin/enamel ingot that creates a natural translucency but also eliminates the enamel build up step. The Ceramco Press systems revolutionary pre-blended dentin and enamel ingots not only create a natural translucency once pressed, but enable the technician, whether it is a waxer or a ceramist, to repeatedly hit their target shade – time after time. This consistency means fewer remakes, lower costs and happier dentists and patients.

By simplifying the process, your lab will be able to achieve consistent quality in your final restorations, offset the high cost of training and retaining ceramists, and remain profitable in an increasing competitive industry.

Ceramco® Press Value Ingot Series

The Ceramco Press Value Ingot Series offers a reduced number of ingots that can be opaqued, pressed, and then shade stain applied in order to achieve the final restoration shade. This process allows for greater production efficiency by allowing work to be grouped together within a value range and the ability to press multiple units at one time. Ceramco Press simply offers more choices.

The benefits of the Ceramco® Press Value Ingot Series system are that it allows you to:
  • Achieve a full range of 46 final shade (16 A-D, 4 Bleached, 26 CP Shade Series shades) yet carry less inventory in your lab;
  • Group work together within a value range for increased work flow efficiency.
With the six Value Ingots and 39 highly chromatic stains, Ceramco Press offers a full system to meet Dentists’ shade requirements. The system also enables you to press several popular shades which require no stain at all. Shades A2, A3, A3.5, B1, C1, i3 and i4 require no dentin stain to achieve the final shade. This means faster processing time for the most popular shades.

The introduction of 26 Ceramco® Press CP Shade Series offers a full pallet of shades. The 26 Ceramco CP Shade Series Paste Opaque and 26 Shade Stains are conveniently used with the same six base Value Ingots.

The chart below provides instructions to create successful shades with the Ceramco® Press Value Ingot Series. (Click on the image below or see brochure for full details.)

Ceramco® Press Margin and Final Margin Porcelain

The new Margin and Final Margin porcelain eliminates the graying at the margin due to translucency of the ingot when pressed. The more opaceous margin porcelain disguises the dark-colored metal margins, allowing the technician more consistency and control in creating a highly esthetic restoration.

The new line addition is available in 8 shades to allow you to create 16 A-D, 4 illuminé™ and 26 Ceramco Press CP Shade Series shades.

Additional features of the new Ceramco Press Margin and Final Margin include:
  • Ceramco Press Margin minimizes graying in the gingival area of pressed crowns.
  • Beautiful shade blends between margin porcelain and ingot material.
  • The margin integrity is fully controlled through the pressing process.
  • The margin porcelain is compatible with all components of the Ceramco Press system.
